AI is changing both how employees work and how IT teams manage the tools they rely on. We are building for both. This week, we added two new AI capabilities to CurrentWare Cloud.
AI Usage Insights is the workplace side that shows you which AI tools your employees are actually using, how adoption is trending across teams, and where unapproved tools are showing up.
In-Product AI Assistance is the product side that answers your CurrentWare questions inside the console, using our knowledge base, and hands you to a live agent when documentation runs out.
Both are available now and here’s a quick overview of the new releases:
#1 AI Usage Insights
AI is already in use across your organization. The question is not whether people have adopted it, but whether you can see it clearly enough to make decisions about it.
Right now that view is hard to assemble. AI activity spreads across desktop applications and web tools, so no single report shows the full picture. Comparing adoption across departments usually means exporting data into a spreadsheet. And when teams reorganize, historical group data gets scrambled, which makes long-term trends hard to trust.
AI Usage Insights is a new BrowseReporter dashboard that brings all of it into one place. It has four connected views, and they share a single timeframe filter, so switching between them never resets your analysis window.
How you can benefit from this release:
- See every AI tool in use, approved or not, without reading a single prompt
- Compare adoption across departments and time periods without building a spreadsheet.
- Hand stakeholders a defensible monthly report on schedule instead of rebuilding it each time.

#2 In-Product AI Assistance
Most support tickets are findable answers. Not hard problems, just questions that were faster to ask than to search for.
Part of that is vocabulary. “Stop someone using a USB stick” and “device permissions” describe the same task, and only one of them matches the article title. Part of it is timing. The right article exists, but it surfaces at the wrong moment or is split across several pages. And switching between the console and a support portal breaks your momentum halfway through a configuration change.
So we put help where the work happens. In-Product AI Assistance is an assistant inside the CurrentWare Cloud console. Ask your question in plain language, or start from a suggested topic like getting started, productivity, DLP, or website and application access.
How you can benefit from this release:
- Get answers mid-task without leaving the console or opening a support portal.
- Reach a live agent with your context already attached when documentation is not enough.
- Keep your monitoring data out of scope, since the assistant cannot read it.

Both features are live on CurrentWare Cloud now.
No credit card required, and the suite deploys in under 15 minutes.
