How do I verify my client computers are getting the latest BrowseControl filtering policies?

As an Administrator it is easier than ever to keep track of all your CurrentWare Clients block lists. You can internally audit the lists to ensure any changes you make are updated across your fleet of clients. The Web Filter Client Update Logs will show you your groups and PCs and what their current block list count is to ensure they have the most up-to-date blocks.

To access the URL Allowed / Blocked List Logs:

  1. Login to your CurrentWare web console as an Admin level operator.
  2. Go to Tools.
  3. Go to Logs.
  4. Select the Web Filter Client Update tab.
  5. The Allowed / Blocked List log is the default choice. You can review your client list here to ensure all your clients have to the latest lists.
  6. If your client is currently connected you can try to push out an outdated list by using the refresh  action button.


Easily export the information to Excel or PDF with the appropriate button

To access the Blocked Category List Logs:

  1. Login to your CurrentWare web console as an Admin level operator.
  2. Go to Tools.
  3. Go to Logs.
  4. Select the Web Filter Client Update tab.
  5. Use the dropdown to select Blocked Category List. You can review your client list here to ensure all your clients have to the latest category block lists.
  6. If your client is currently connected you can try to push out an outdated list by using the refresh  action button.

Easily export the information to Excel or PDF with the appropriate button
