Update the URL Filter with multiple websites

Administrators can make changes to multiple groups through the BrowseControl Allowed and Blocked lists; rather than having to add each link to the singular groups.

This feature makes your administrative changes more efficient and less clunky.

Updating multiple URL filter list groups at once

  1. Open the CurrentWare web console
  2. Go to BrowseControl on the left-hand side
  3. Select the URL Filter 
  4. Enter the website URL that you want to add to your groups and select it from the appropriate list
  5. Click the white dropdown arrow beside Add to allowed/blocked list
  6. Choose the Add to multiple groups option

  1. Select the groups you want to place the URL into, or select all for all groups

8. Press apply to clients and you can now see the list has been updated



Removing multiple URLs from list groups at once

  1. Open the CurrentWare web console
  2. Go to BrowseControl on the left-hand side
  3. Select the URL Filter 
  4. Find the website that you want to remove from multiple groups on your Allowed or Blocked list
  5. Click the white dropdown arrow beside remove from allowed/blocked list
  6. Choose the Add to multiple groups option

7. Select the groups that you would like to remove the allowed or blocked URL. You can select all to choose all groups.


8. Select remove from allowed/blocked list to update the lists. You can see your lists have been updated.
