What ports need to be opened on my Firewall?

During the installation, CurrentWare will add the CurrentWare ports to your Windows Firewall’s exception list. If you are having issue with client connection, data upload of console connection, please make sure the following ports are not blocked on your CurrentWare Server computer.

  • 8990 TCP/UDP – Console Connection Port
  • 8991 TCP/UDP – Client Connection Port
  • 8992 TCP/UDP – Client Data Upload
  • 8993 TCP/UDP – Screenshots Upload
  • 8994 TCP/UDP – HTTPS Filtering
  • 8995 TCP/UDP – Client Data Upload
  • 8996 TCP/UDP – Client Data Upload Failover
  • 8997 TCP/UDP – Rest API
  • 8998 TCP/UDP – Web Console
  • 8999 TCP/UDP – URL Socket Retrieval
  • 1433 TCP/UDP – For SQL Database only – (If you find the 899x range ports are not providing dataflow)
  • 1434 TCP/UDP – For SQL Database only – (If you find the 899x range ports are not providing dataflow)
  • 1024 TCP/UDP – For BrowseReporter Remote Screen Capture only
  • 443 TCP/UDP – For Client Connection Failover
  • 3050 TCP/UDP – Firebird Database (Only needed if running v6.0.0 or lower)
