Can I set different restrictions for different computers or users?

Can I set different restrictions for different computers or users?

BrowseControl allows you to set different Internet policies to different groups of computers or users.

The management console allows you to create group folders to set separate policies amongst different computers or users.

Easy Steps:

Creating a folder and placing Allow list / block list rules onto it.
  1. Use the create a new folder button and name the folder.
  2. Click on the folder you wish to edit and click URL Filter or Category Filter in BrowseControl.
  3. Allow or Block the pages that you want your employees to have access to.

How to copy settings across different group folders

Note: In “Copy Group Settings” Left side is your Source and Right side is your Destination. Maybe sure you only copy onto the Destination folders you want, as the settings will be overwritten!

With your Console open:

  1. Select Copy Group Settings from the BrowseControl menu
  2. Choose your Source Group
  3. Choose your Settings to copy or select all
  4. Choose your Destination Groups. All settings will be overwritten with the Source Group policies.
  5. Press Copy and OK
