Adding CurrentWare to your BitDefenders Exclusion Lists

Adding CurrentWare to your BitDefenders Exclusion Lists

Bitdefender Antivirus can sometimes interrupt with the functionalities of CurrentWare due to where the local files are hidden on the client PCs.

RECOMMENDED: Temporarily Disable Bitdefender Prior to Upgrades

If you have any of the Bitdefender security suite installed on your client computers, we would highly recommend adding the following CurrentWare files to your Bitdefender exclusion list as well as temporaily disabling Bitdefender prior to any console or client installs or updates.

How to access the exceptions list in Bitdefender

Bitdefender has two different ways of managing exceptions; by file and by folder. This can cause some confusion when trying to exclude the CurrentWare paths that need to be allowed.

Bitdefender also has three main security features it uses to secure PCs: Antivirus, Online Threat Protection and Advanced Threat Defense. The main feature you want to make sure that these exclusions go through is the Antivirus and Advanced Threat Defense feature.
