Active Directory importing and syncing is not working

You can import your users and organizational units or sync them from your active directory to the CurrentWare console. For more information importing and syncing with Active Directory go to the following KB article. Can I import my users and organizational units from my Active Directory?

Duplicate Computer Names

If there are issues with only some of your users and organizational units importing or syncing from your Active Directory, you have duplicate organizational unit names.

The CurrentWare console does not allow duplicate group folder names for best IT management practices. If your active directory consists of duplicate OU names, the CurrentWare console will only import one of the organizational units with the duplicate names.

To resolve this issue, you will need to rename your organizational units so that all of their names are unique. Once you’ve renamed your organizational units, you can then import or re-sync your active directory to the CurrentWare console.
