Run Netsh Winsock Reset to troubleshoot network issues

Is BrowseControl causing the following issues on your client computers?

  • BrowseControl not blocking any websites
  • BrowseControl is preventing any websites from loading
  • Are you client computers running Windows 7?

Resetting the network layers to fix the issues:

  1. Go to Start Menu > type in CMD

  2. In the search bar> right click on it and select Run as Administrator)

  3. Type in Netsh Winsock Reset

  4. Restart the computer.
