Using Google Chrome to Identify URLs that are being Blocked by BrowseControl

    1. Go to a website that’s being blocked by BrowseControl in Google Chrome
    2. Right click on anywhere and select “Inspect”.
    3. The Inspect window will appear on the bottom or the right hand side
    4. Click on the Sources Tab.

    1. A list of all the URLs that are being loaded in the site will be listed. These are the URLs that are being blocked by BrowseControl and are not being loaded on the site.
    2. Add the domains of these URLs to BrowseControl’s Allowed list in order for the website to fully load.
    3. Use your discretion when adding the URLs to your allowed list. Only try to add websites that are associated with the external sources that BrowseControl is blocking.

    5. For example, in the screenshot above, you may want to add the following to BrowseControl’s Allowed list:
      • cdn.segment.com
      • googleapis.com
      • gstatic.com
      • appboycdn.com
    6. Try to avoid adding URLs that may allow users to social media websites:
      • facebook.net
      • facebook.com
      • Google-analytics.com
