As of April 2021 CurrentWare Gateway has reached End-of-Life. It is no longer offered for sale and there will be no new developments to the product. The best alternative to CurrentWare Gateway is BrowseControl web filtering software and BrowseReporter employee computer monitoring software.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is becoming a hot new trend in business, but how do you control it? What’s stopping people from wasting valuable company time on their own device? This is becoming a bigger and bigger issue, but don’t worry, there is a solution coming!
The CurrentWare Gateway, our upcoming product, will allow businesses to filter their employee’s phones webs surfing while they’re at work. It will allow businesses to filter out websites that are potential security risks, or major time wasters.
No client software is required for the CurrentWare Gateway, which makes it ideal for BYOD set ups. Want to know more? Contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be more than happy to answer any questions.

If you can answer the question correctly you’ll have bragging rights that you were clever enough to figure this out.
There are four men who need to cross a narrow chasm in the mountains at night. Only two can fit at a time since it’s so narrow, and to cross they need a flash light because it’s too dangerous to cross in the dark. The problem is, they only have one flashlight and they are all climbers of different skill.
Here’s how long it takes each man to cross the chasm:
Since they have only one flashlight one person must cross back over the chasm to bring it back. The men crossing the chasm cannot separate, so if the 2 minute man is going with the 10 minute man then it takes both of them 10 minutes to cross.
What is the shortest amount of time it could take for them to cross?
Hint: There is no trick to this question, think about it logically.
We had a testimonial contest a while back, and we just wanted to highlight one that we found particularly entertaining.
“When I first started looking for software to manage the Internet usage in our office, I felt overwhelmed with all of the options and high costs of some of the products out there. After days of going through all of the different options, I narrowed down my options to three choices – CurrentWare being the last of the three. After trying the first two demos I was on the verge of giving up. However, I used the CurrentWare demo and never looked back!
It was SO easy to setup and maintain! I also purchased the content filter subscription and I have never been more satisfied with a product purchase! Considering the cost of the program and the subscription fee for the content filter – I’m still saving hundreds of dollars a month because I can manage it myself. The average on site technician is usually about $150/hr. This product is well worth the cost and the staff has been amazing! This is the only Internet filter I will ever use!”
